Jodie Shuster

Executive Director, Wildlife Center Friends

Jodie began her tenure as a volunteer at the Mercer County Wildlife Center in 2006 and 2007.  

Jodie has a diverse background with 14 years of non-profit management and fundraising experience.  

As a graduate of the University of Florida, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Anthropology where she studied primate behavior.

Jodie remains dedicated to the protection and preservation of native wildlife through community education and outreach.

Sharon Lauchaire

Board President, Wildlife Center Friends

Sharon Lauchaire has served on the Board of the Wildlife Center Friends since 2002.

Even after more than 15 years of service, Sharon still marvels at the work of the Mercer County Wildlife Center, its dedicated staff and its tireless volunteers.  

Sharon was proud to join the many individuals who helped to create the Center's outdoor education space which supplements the critical work of the hospital and allows the public to gain an understanding of the Mercer County's native wildlife.

Board Treasurer, Wildlife Center Friends

Rebecca has been an accounting professional for over 30 years and first became involved with the Wildlife Center as a volunteer in 1997 feeding all of the animals and birds entering the center that spring. 

In 2002 she joined the Board of Directors serving as Treasurer until 2009.  After a brief time away from the Board, Rebecca returned to fill this role again in 2016. 

Rebecca is a true animal lover and enjoys sharing her financial skills with organizations that benefit animals.

Bruce Stout

Board Member, Wildlife Center Friends

Bruce Stout is an avid outsdoorsman, pilot, cyclist and scuba diver whose love of nature drew him to Wildlife Center Friends. 

He values the Friends’ work in supporting wildlife rehabilitation and is pleased to play a small role in supporting that work. 

In his professional life he is a professor of criminology at The College of New Jersey.

Raymond C. Daikeler

Board Member, Wildlife Center Friends

Raymond C. Daikeler is a Drexel University graduate and retired business executive. He is a resident of Ewing, NJ resident. 

Ray is a retired U.S. Army helicopter pilot as well as retired football official.
